In the month of August, Wellington Place will have three amazing ladies reach the milestone of celebrating their 100th birthday. Henrietta (Hank) Krumm sitting in the middle in the picture will be 100 on August 9. She was born on a farm by Ossian to Ben and Christine Bushman. She has 9 siblings. Henrietta married George W. Sailor and had two sons Gary and Craig. They divorced and later she married George Krumm. Hank was a beautician and loved golf.  Her words of wisdom for everyone is: Do what you can.

Marie Setter on the right side of the picture will be celebrating her 100th  birthday August 11. She was born by Fort Atkinson in a two-room house to Anson and Rosalia Elsbernd. She has 9 siblings. Before she was married Marie worked as a hired girl. After she married Gerhardt Setter she was a farm wife and raised 5 daughters. Her words of wisdom for everyone is: Take life one day at a time and be happy.

Anna Iverson will be celebrating her 100th  birthday August 26. She was born in Decorah to Ole and Thorbgor Rohm. She has a twin brother, Arnold, another set of twin siblings and three step siblings. She married Leonard and they have a one daughter. Anna worked as a bookkeeper and treasurer at the creamery, as a bookkeeper at the hospital and at Anthony’s. Anna’s words of wisdom are: Enjoy life and take one day at a time.

If a person took the time to sit and visit with these wonderful ladies just imagine all the stories you would hear, the years of wisdom they have and the history you would learn!
