From Scott’s Desk

I have said this before but the one essential ingredient that remains central to making everything work is people. They either have the will to succeed or not. The people that are part of the Wellington Place experience are really something special. Whether it is the residents, families, volunteers or Wellington employees, there is an attitude, approach and spirit that you don’t see very often. Empathy, cooperation, cheerfulness, and optimism are words that come to mind when I think about the situations, we have been facing during these pandemic times. We are so grateful for the cooperation that everyone has provided us and the empathy that the Wellington staff has shown toward all these difficult situations along with the optimism and courage throughout each and every day. This truly inspires me and makes me grateful to be part of the Wellington team and the medical profession. Although we look forward to achieving some form of normalcy once again, it is fair to say that in my 30 + years in this profession I cannot think of a better group of people to ride this situation out with than the ones employed here at Wellington Place and Assisted Living. God Bless and stay safe!
