In July we enjoyed Mr. Nick from the Winneshiek County fair, Jr. Nordic Dancers, watching previous Nordic Fest parades and participating in the Nordic Fest parade. With the warm weather we had a lot of ice cream treats including making homemade ice cream in a bag. In August we will be finishing the book Dewey The small -Town Library Cat Who Touched the World and will begin reading Gifts From Decorah Laurah by Dennis Glawe in Book Club. The Mennonite Choir will be here August 20 at 6:15. September 4 we will be playing the Price is Right at 3:30. Our family picnic and concert will be September 11 from 4:00-6:00. We hope you can all come and enjoy the great music by The Buck Hollow Band, food and fun with the staff and residents.  Tim the Music Man will be playing on September 23 at 6:30.
