Our family and resident Christmas party will be December 2 from 2:00-4:00 with music, food, fun and Santa. Come and join your loved one and enjoy some holiday fun!
I love Christmas and all of the music, baking, family visits, decorations and all of the hustle and bustle that goes along with the season!!  We are very busy celebrating the season at Wellington with the Luren singers, carolers coming, cookie baking contest, wrapping presents, games, Christmas movies, decorating trees and practicing for our bell choir Christmas contest.

Two of St. Ben’s classes come each month, and everyone loves the enthusiasm and energy they bring. I always hear from at least one of the residents after the kids leave, “I sure wish I had some of their energy!”  We will have kindergarten- second grade classes from Decorah school visiting several times in December to entertain us as well.

In book club we finished The Little House on the Prairie and decided to read some Christmas stories for the month of December. 

We will end the month with a New Year’s Eve party on December 31 at 3:00.

We are always looking for new collections to display in our showcase. If you have anything you would like to share, please see Lynn or Christine in activities. The showcases are locked and usually displayed for one month.
