Senior socialization leads to better quality of Life.  With this being said, we want to graciously thank The Depot Outlet and their Board of Directors for supporting our mission and presenting Wellington Place Assisted Living with $2,000.00 to help supplement the tenant activity program.  Lack of social support especially in the elderly population, causes negative impacts on health and well-being.  It is important to have a variety of positive social interactions to enhance the physical and emotional wellness of the aging population. Being active and social is directly related to a reduction in stress levels, increasing physical health and combating problems such as depression and anxiety.  We have an incredible activity program in place and with this generous donation we will continue on our mission to provide high quality care to the community we love.
