Meet Jackie Anderson, Director of Nursing:

Since the age of 5 years old all I wanted to be was a mom & a nurse. I am passionate about both of these roles in my life. I live in Calmar with my family, Troy, Addie (14) and Braeden (10). My 20 year nursing career has been mostly ICU, a little ER, home health, dialysis, LTAC & long term care. Two years ago we moved back to Iowa after living in Wisconsin for 11 years. While there Troy was the Regional Director of Sports for Special Olympics. Our children grew up with a love and respect for individuals with special needs. In my free-time I enjoy crafts, but my all time favorite thing to do is watch my children play softball/baseball. While being the Director of Nursing at Wellington Place, Addie and Braeden have acquired the same love and respect that I have for our Residents and the geriatric population. I am truly blessed!
