Some of the Decorah High School Art students had an art fair at Wellington Place on March 8. It was awesome to see the talent and hear the students talk about their art. The residents and students liked it so much they want to make it a yearly event!
Our bell choir has been practicing songs after a short break. The group decided to have a July 4th concert this year instead of an Easter concert. Our group has changed over the years and we are always looking for new bell ringers. Thank you to the volunteers who help us. We couldn’t do it with out your support.
We are trying a new activity in April called, “Ask Goggle anything!” We will see if our residents can stump modern technology! Annie’s Dancers will be here Tuesday April 2 at 6:30 to perform. We always look forward to their performance and enthusiasm. We will have our Easter party on April 18 at 3:00. Family and friends are invited to come and join in and you might even see the Easter Bunny. By the end of April, we hope to get outside and enjoy some warmer weather. We will be planning our garden beds and cleaning the courtyard as soon as weather permits.
As many of you know we have a locked display case by the front office where we display holiday decorations and collections. We are always looking for something new to display. So, if you have a collection of any kind you would like to share please contact activities. We would really appreciate seeing new collections.
Happy Easter!
