October brings more exciting things! We are looking forward to our Health and Wellness Fair! It will be on Friday October 11, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The fair is for all ages and we hope you and your families will join us. We have about 30 organizations and businesses throughout Winneshiek County that will be attending the fair and will be providing such things as door prizes, food samples, demonstrations, kids obstacle course, health screenings, holistic therapies and fitness opportunities plus valuable information to keep us all healthy, happy and well. Grab a friend and check it out…. you won’t go away empty handed!!
In September we played the Price is Right, celebrated National Grandparents Day, enjoyed a great resident and family picnic, honored our two ladies who are 100 years old or older on National Centenarian day and enjoyed a lot of good music, laughs, learned a lot and had a great time as usual!
We have started a new yoga class on Thursday afternoons at 2:30. You are welcome to join your loved one for the class. We will be having our All Saints Service November 5 and our Resident and Family Christmas Party will be December 8 from 2:00- 4:00.
If anyone has a collection, we could display in our showcase please see Lynn or Christine in Activities. The residents really enjoy looking at the different displays.
Have a great fall and stop to see us!
