Activities

Fall at Wellington Place would not be complete with out the boy scouts coming to carve pumpkins which they did on Ocotober 22. Dennis Carter and Larry Reis both gave programs on trees and fall color this month. We took a van ride to look at the pretty leaves on the 22. Our Halloween party will be October 31 at 3:00 with food, fun and games.

In November our bell choir, The Ding a lings, will continue their weekly practice for their Christmas concert. Retired Navy Captain, Paul Jacobs will present a program about the USS Kirk and we will watch the DVD,The Lucky Few The USS Kirk on November 12 at 2:30. We will have our All Saints program on November 13 at 3:00 to remember the residents who passed in the last year.

Bingo is a favorite activity which we are able to have every Tuesday thanks to the area churches,  several local organizations and several area banks. When you come for bingo and bring gifts and treats you are making a lot of people very happy. Thank you for your support. We also occasionallly have tournament bingo on the weekends and in the evernings. Check out the activity calendar and feel free to join us for bingo!

I know not everyone is ready to think about Christmas but our annual resident and family  Christmas party will be December 2 from 2:00- 4:00 in the activity room. Please come and join us for music, food and maybe Santa will even make an appearance! 

We will have a lot of Christmas fun planned  in December so stay tuned and come join the fun!
