As you may have likely heard Wellington Place Nursing and Rehabilitation’s campus will begin the demolition of the two older wings that were licensed as Residential Care. Because this model of care was no longer wanted by the government we have chosen to replace these older wings with a new Assisted Living Memory Care Unit. This setting will provide memory care to lower acuity residents that will benefit from receiving care in this minimal stimulus area. We are hoping to have this demolition completed before winter and potentially begin new construction in the Spring. We are very excited about the ongoing development of our new care community here at Wellington Place.
