Assisted Living News

With the coronavirus creating havoc all over the world and now in Iowa we are being proactive and exercising extreme caution. We have implemented measures to prevent the spread of any virus in an effort to keep everyone healthy and safe. For the next 60 days we will not be letting outside people come in for music, church or any other activities. We will continue with activities in the building and will have to change and update our calendars.

For April and May we will have to get very creative to keep everyone active. Things we will be doing are watching the Decorah Eagles, bingo, games, cards, sing a longs, exercises, cooking, movies, puzzles, reminiscing, lifelong learning, arm chair travel and more. I will scour my sources for other fun things we can do. 

Our jobs as activity professionals is to deal with what comes along and that’s exactly what we will do.
